I appreciated the original approach taken in many of the designs, and viewing these examples all together wove a rich tapestry of new, fresh and inventive ideas. Each one displayed its own unique characteristics, particularly the Robin Kramer landscape project, which was a visually rich experience.

Some of the most memorable elements adopted by this year's contenders were the clean lines and craftsmanship in the designs used to establish the definition of the room itself. Vincente-Burin Architects' kitchen project stands out—I loved the mixture of curves and straight lines.

I loved the architecture submissions, especially the work of Joeb Moore's architecture project, which, in my opinion, provides both a refreshing and original approach to living.
